Great question as i have been researching rc excavators myself with the idea of being towed on a trailer behind a crawler, i was an excavator mechanic for over 30 years so can operate them too, i've been trying to find out if the transmitter controls are the same movements as the real one's.
I don't really want to spend a fortune on one so i've been looking at the Huina's which Modelsport and Wheelspin stock, not sure which way to go though yet.
Yes it sure is, i've just got back from a foggy trailing session, on the trail there are some steep 30mtr banks which i have never been able to climb, half way at the most, the G500 went up them with ease this morning.
The TRX 4 G500 got a set of Fastrax heavyweight beadlock's with a set of BF Goodrich Krawler tyres in predator compound, each wheel and tyre weighs 7.5oz.
I always support my local hobby store, if there was a problem with anything it would be exchanged straight away, also i can nip in and look at things, ok i'm lucky i live local to mine.
We have a few TRX 4s and more than happy with wheel & trigger especially when trailing using cruise control, yeah ok the Sport don't have that feature but still ok to me, suppose it's what you expect from your driving skills.
Hello Ludy welcome to the forum, well done quitting smoking once you get into rc i'm sure you will master it, do you have any good hobby stores in France worth a mention.
