  1. Yes, another Dodge Powerwagon,. Sorry in advance if its getting too much, but I have a soft spot for them ( this is my second build..other was a Sawback). Its cos' we had one as recovery truck when I was an apprentice too many years ago. So I started months ago with a TRX-4 sport kit, ( still need to sort selling the body etc), fitted cantilever kit and made very low battery tray, moved electrics and so on to fit a dropped rear bed. Started on the body, strengthening the join between cab and bed so I can make a hinged system for battery change, cutting out windows, making seats from balsa covered in surgical tape, and springing for an Rc nerds dash and wheel etc etc. Dropped bed was a little stressful but done now. Anyway more work to do but at least I decided on colour. Some pics (very amateur I'm afraid)

  7. Had a busy week with the vRS Changed the brakes F&R, Kinetix grooved and dimpled disks with Brembo pads Then i done the Secondary Air Injection delete, i changed the coolant flange and coolant temp sensor at the same time, made sense because I had to remove the flange to get to the SAI injection valve. Also I simplified the Evap and breather pipe work... 👍

  10. Hols and work have eaten my summer.... again. Some shareable captures from our Hols to follow, but first one of a moth that conveniently sat on the beach towel drying in the conservatory. Taken handheld with a 90mm macro lens. We named it the flying rabbit. These two are compressed versions of the originals, limited to 2048px on longest edge, still best viewed full screen on a monitor.

  14. Here's a few pics for last weekends UK Recon G6. What a great event. My first time driving a leaf sprung truck, and I must say I love it. It was really predictable and stable. With the overdrive from the GCM transmission it climb superbly too. I am really happy with how it's turned out. It's a little scratched up now, but that all adds to the look I guess... And a few with my Dad's D90.

  16. Had a change from Losi as I have been with them for about 4 years and it's the only make i've used (except my Hyper 7 when I first started). Now a new era begins with Agama and I can't wait to take it racing this year at nationals etc. I have taken a few pictures along the way and will post them as I go along. Beta VMAX tyres and Beta wheels are included in the kit. These shock seals where a ******* to get out of the packet! No idea what that piece of paper means...

  17. My 17t Losi clutch bell finally arrived so I can at last install the last piece of the puzzle and fit the engine. Engine is an Alpha S852 which is also brand new, has only done the break-in procedure so it needs a race tune whilst I also get used to a new buggy. Shell also ready, sprayed by "Wardy the Paint" (Allan Ward, owner of Bay Racers).

  18. For now, the car is complete. I still need to put radio gear in and put some decals on the wing. My shell is also with "Wardy The Paint" for spraying.
