  1. Thanks Mike. Yes the battery compartment is a bit tight when it comes to changing the battery! Thanks for the sway bar tip. Went to use mine today and the clutch bell came loose off the collette!!

  2. Well the wife is safely away at her mums and the call phone has been quiet. So I tackled the rear lights. I must say they are some of the most fiddly and time consuming lights Ive ever built. Fitted the rear wings properly now. While I had the wheels off to fit the wings and shock mounts I looked at the black axle tie rods and thought Im just not happy with them so axles are back out so I can paint the tie rods. Built up the O/S tank up, sorted the marker lamps too. Also done a bit of painting, mainly primer work so didnt bother taking any pictures.

  3. Back in the day, prior to ni-cd & ni-mh 7.2 volt packs, those 540 motors were designed to run on 12v batteries. So 7.4v lipo is absolutely fine

  5. Hmm, not too sure how to explain but imagine your servo horn with the top of the shock mounted on it, that way you still get suspension but when working will either make the body higher or lower... go go for it mate, I’m sure you can do it mate...
