  1. I recently bought a new Losi 8ight Truggy 4.0 converted to electric but after a few uses the rear centre dogbone bent..not sure if this was due to a heavy landing or the power as they seem a little thin. Also struggling understanding the hobbywing esc and if it can run with just 1 4s battery as trying to fit 2 in the tray and getting them secure is a nightmare 😞
  2. Im not sure this engine is made anymore however you can get the Novarossi 28-8 from Answer Rc £255 i believe
  3. Anyone in the Exeter area into Nitros 5th scales?
  4. Hi all. Bit of a long shot but wondered if anyone knows if there are any adjustable engine mounts like the hyper 7 ones that will fit the HPI TROPHY. I picked up brand new Ansmann 21 engine and the mount holes don't align up. Thanks
  5. Hi Mike I live in the Exeter area and would be up for traveling to Torquay to meet up. I have a losi 8ight truggy and a buggy. Was thinking of getting a Baja in the future but wanted to make sure I can find a good place to run them. I would be up for meeting up at Dartmoor as well. Cheers Rob
  6. Awesome thanks for that. I don't believe I have the original clutch and flywheel. I will await your post on the sizes and compare ?
  7. How do you find the Losi starter box with the racing chassis in regards to it.touching the chassis when you start it? I have an old Losi 2.0 starter but the wheel touches.
  8. Thanks I'll.keep that in mind if it happens again.
  9. Thanks Mike. Yes the battery compartment is a bit tight when it comes to changing the battery! Thanks for the sway bar tip. Went to use mine today and the clutch bell came loose off the collette!!
  10. Awesome job...love the losi kit. I have the older truggy 2.0 and love it with a .21 engine. Out of interest what size sway bar did you use as I need to make my own exhaust bracket for mine! Cheers
  11. Hi all. Sorry if this has been brought up before. I bought a second hand Savage 4.6 a little while ago everything seemed good until doing high speed runs and the engine cutting out after releasing the throttle. I worked out the idle was set too low however with it turned up the clutch was engaging. So I thought I would seal everything , backplane carb etc and it seemed better but the clutch was still engaging early with fibres everywhere!. This is a new hpi clutch with the normal black springs. So I tried some 1mm clutch springs and it was fine but I think 1mm springs are too much as it doesn't pull wheelie etc. Long story short is there any springs anyone can can recommend to overcome this? Thanks
  12. Thanks, haven't really found anywhere decent to run them properly yet. At the moment I just do it down the local field
