  1. Unfortunately I haven’t got time to find packaging to package something of that size and weight; to buy packaging for it would cost way too much. I did advertise it as pick up only. Mike.
  2. Hi It comes with an rx but not tx. The best price is £200 pick up only from South Devon. P.s I tried to PM you but you can’t receive PM’s for some reason. Thanks, Mike.
  3. Hi I have still got it up for sale. Mike.
  4. This Baja has had a complete engine rebuild including new piston, head, gaskets, bearings, carb and pullstart. It is in need of a new exhaust as it is snapped and new wheels and tires as these are heavily worn, one of which the rim lock is broken. The engine and electrics are in full working order just needs a little bit of work to get it up and running again. Battery, killswitch, servos, and Futaba receiver included but no transmitter included. £200 paid via Paypal, local pick up from south Devon. 6. I just took mine down splash down over flow car park and up watcombe bmx track until my exhaust snapped. I have still got my losi running which I’ll be getting out in the better weather.
  7. Hi Walney-Reptiles, All I would do is swap the fuel pipes around and test. If it still doesn’t work, try checking inside the carb for blockages as well as the fuel lines. I would of thought the fuel lines would be the wrong way round. Hope this helps. Mike.
  8. Thanks for the tip, I like the way your cage has been modded. I haven't got access to any welding gear. To be honest I haven't spent a lot on it, so I'm not too bothered if it gets a beating. I want to save up and build a new custom Losi or HPI petrol buggy. Build it with a big engine, something a bit crazy.
  9. She is happily running once more. Thanks to everyone for their help. Here's what she sounds like during her run-in. Home.m4a
  10. Sorry to hear you are having a hard time. A Torbay basher group would be great and something that would make the hobby that much better ?
  11. Grimsson (Mike) - Hpi Baja 29cc big bore - Torbay (Devon)
  12. Cool we will have to sort something out weather dependant. I managed to run a whole tank of 1:25 mix through my newly built engine. The previous owner advertised it as a 29cc; after measuring the piston, I found out it was a 26cc. I bought a big bore 29cc piston and head to convert it. I also replaced the shaft bearings + oil seals, wrist pin + bearing, all new gaskets, flywheel, clutch, coil, carb and super bee kill switch. It ran perfectly. I just need to tune it, hopefully on Thursday. Here's a photo of the finished build.
  13. No worries buddy, I’m always happy to help.
  14. Hi Rob, I’ll be up for a meet up. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday night so will only be able to meet up Monday to Thursday. I won’t be running my Losi for a while as I want to do the first tuning in warmer weather. The Baja on the other hand is being run in and having its first tune tomorrow, I have just completed a full engine and car rebuild. As long as everything works as it should I should be ready for bashing from next week. I haven’t been Dartmoor bashing yet. We could meet up at Watcombe BMX track one day, but it might be too much water everywhere now so might be confined to slash down car park, Paignton until things dry out a bit. Let me know. Cheers, Mike.
  15. Right my Losi flywheel is 36mm in diameter with the 4 shoe clutch and the engine mounts are 15.28mm in height. Losi do a taller engine mount that is used with engines that have a pull start or rotor start, this will cause the bump box wheel to hit the chassis. Hope this helps.
