Well sort of... I love my Durango's - but maybe a bit too much? I finished my LC Racing EMB-1 roller, fitted a Velineon motor, and painted up a Phat Bodies Piranha shell for it. I used Tamiya Champagne Gold and Copper for the fade effect, and then I thought I'd put decals on to match my DEX 408 and DEX 410: Not bad for a rattle can job... Now just waiting on a HK X-Car ESC and I'll be good to go! N

Im done... Me, Stu and Chris wont be at Bathgate at the weekend as we take the neighbours into consideration. I dunno what its been like up here but I know for sure when I was down on holiday I wouldnt be sitting inside. We visit the track for a bash if the weather is good and when the weather is good people like to go out and sunbathe, cut the grass, do the garden and whatever else they like to do. If you 2 (sweeney and whizzy) want to run then so be it, we cant hold you from running on public land. All we are asking is that you have a little respect for us and the neighbours and give them a week off to go out and enjoy the outdoors without the noise of all our rcs. I am taking no part in further arguments and wont be posting again untill everyone has come to their sences and stopped fighting over the dumbest **** ever.

Get some decent holes in the shell as well, both front and back to direct airflow, I've dropepd temps by 20-25F simply by doing that before today, same motor, esc, lipos and driving conditions as the first test with no holes. Definitely worth doing, it all helps

Sweeney, it is the more the merrier, but before alot of the newer people turned up we only bashed at Bathgate every 2-3 weeks so I understand where people are coming from. If people are taking 1/5ths this weekend and theres likely to be hastle I wont be there.

Hi buddy. The mx track is a good spot if you have a 1/8 or 1/5 as it's a little bumpy due to the motor x bikes using it. If you want to meet there let me know as I'm not far from there. SSS

take it what way you want but iam only saying electric as you guy`s with 1/5 have been there for nearly three weeks on weekends and sometimes during the week aswell (no offence to anyone who has done it) and iam sure the neighbour`s or people who live there are bound to get peed off with 4 or 5 1/5 scale cars running around for upto an hour at a time and iam sure you would to if it were happening every weekend were you live ? and i don`t offer lifts as most people have the there own transport its not like iam going to drive all the way say falkirk to pick up jordan and drop him off again am i that`s just stupid. i if we were going to the bing and ewan needed a lift then i would do it as he lives close to me and there is law iam sure that will stop us using it and you have to remember its not private property its land owned by the council so they would have there say as well and iam sure there are some bylaw`s which the council or even police could enforce like anti social behauvier. if you want to come along then do so i have no problems with it but if someone complains then it has **** all todo with me same go`s if the council or police come along

Hi wwit welcome to the forum fella!.. Not sure if I read this right but did you say your going to buy a d8t kit to use as parts for this ? If so don't scrap this and run with the d8 it's way better than a trophy .. The trophy is a poor man's d8 hence why folks upgrade over time to resemble a d8 .. You don't hear much state side about the trophy because there's just so many others that are slightly better cost less and have far better parts support out there. Don't get me wrong I loved mine to bits and I do play around with the idea of another but that soon passes when I remember the constant tweaking and tool wrenching I had to do when I had mine .. Just my 2 cents on it

Putting the back end together, not looking to bad The sway bar ends are blue, the spacers in the rear chase towers and washers in the savox servo horns are blue, my insanity levels need a check again lol.

Progress at last Radio box sorted, rx, killer rc killswitch, buzzer, led on the top shelf plus a killer lipo. Have run the kill switch wire below the battery and a rubber grommet where the lead from the engine will enter. Savox servo horns, washers in blue. Red switch will make the rx and servos live, green for lights. Both are independent so I can have the lights on without servo buzz and rx on etc. Internals, have kept the split feed for lights in the lid so that I only have 2 wires to connect, the battery and the switch lead into the rx port. And I like lights lol,

The sc8 has a small footprint for a 120a ESC, amazing what they will squeeze into...just like all the fat birds currently showing the world just how much stretch Lycra has!
