Well, good news and bad news.
1) The receiver wasn't binding so they sent me a new one
2) Had no deans connector and now sent
3) Sent me a new ESC with the deans connector adaptors and low voltage alarm built in.
On the down side, worked well with the nimh batter but once connected with the lipo, forward became reverse and reverse became forward, my son sent the buggy of 180 degrees in the opposite direction and it grounded but he held the throttle on and not I can steer but have no drive power. Think he burnt the motor out!!
But how the gears became reversed I have no idea.
Edit....flipping the throttle reverse switch on the handset just kept the wheels permanently powered up.
