+1 Firestorm Had mine for years and yeh Ive had a few breakages, but generally a decent wee truck. Dont know about others sadly. Plus if Nitro ends up being no good, you can easily convert them to Electric, as they make an Electric version and its just a case of ordering the differing parts.2 points

Now ya taking it too for Mick, just simmer down ffs LOL2 points

Just throw them in a cool bag to stop them getting hot. I've had lipos puff left in a hot car fully charged. When you heat a lipo its voltage rises, if its fully charged it can go over voltage if it gets hot.2 points

Using 25:1 fuel? Wisps of smoke - not running lean? NOW MATE!! Being sensible, the first couple of tanks are a little easier. Check all bolts - exhaust, engine mounts, head, etc. Most would already be on it - not same as nitro. I like to take the first 2 tanks a bit easy. Al.1 point

I hate the multi-colour cables which come with esc's, have you thought about a one colour install?? It looks a lot more professional1 point

I've got a spare set of alza tvps here bud with 1717 motor mounts aswell drop us a pm and I'm sure we could sort something out if your interested. The diffs are relatively cheap if bought from eBay USA and yes the Vorza diff Is very similar to the hyper 7 diff, I've also had several vorza's and never killed a diff so I know it's up to the job. On 6s this things insane and pops double backflips for fun1 point

Nope, I picked up a pen off the floor. Havent been the same since. I got kicked out of most of my classes in school. So it all started there. I had to be on site to be classed as going to school legally, So all the lessons I wasnt allowed in I was in the training room then off to the local leisure center in the evenings. When I left school I started at the gym instead, But WARNING. Never pick up a pen. Its been 16 years and I still havent gotten over it.1 point

I run these in my 1/10 trucks and they are pretty awesome. I had it in a stampede, slash and SC10 and never had any issues. http://www.giantshark.co.uk/ezrunsc10-brushless-power-combo-p-406415.html?osCsid=abf9c0200e0a7a2487ec1817b6b6136c1 point

I think the issue is that it is is transmitter. It needs to be tested and guaranteed to work within EU regulations. These are along the lines of it must accept any and all interference caused by other electrical signals and it must not cause interference to any other devices. If it doesn't have EU certification then there is no way it will be released to you. Sucks eh?1 point

blade 130X or something in the 250-450 class size 6 channel because yes its harder but your going to become bored of the just flying around stuff you will want more control over the heli as you gain more stick skill.1 point

Schumacher Blue Blocks. These work well on grass and gravel, and whilst not ideal on hard mud will last longer than a spiked tyre. Blue is a hard compound, but remarkably grippy and in the block pattern long lasting. Like the Tamiya's these are a tight fit on 2.2in rims.1 point

Okay, in that case I would go for a relatively spiky tyre (for grip) made from a relatively hard compound (for longevity). Tamiya make some good buggy tyres that satisfy both of these criteria, but one of the quirks of Tamiya buggy tyres is that most of them are ever so slightly smaller than the standard 2.2 tyres used by most other manufacturers. Assuming those wheels you linked to are standard buggy size, it might require a bit of stretching to get them on. Are you definitely wanting to use those wheels?1 point
