Two sport tuned on one and a pair of Muchmore Clubmans on the other, both are quick enough and don't seem to stress the ESC too much. I run mine with sticky grease in the front diffs and the rear diffs locked for traction.

Pat above always gives good advice. I've traded for one a while back and really quite like it. I don't bash that hard with this sort of vehicle and although not run too much, I find it really very good fun and loads of grunt on 4s with the castle 2200kv combo. I may be tempted to sell soon too, so PM me if your interested in a used example, in good condition?

great stuff- are those madforce knuckles as well? with regards to the wheel narrowing, I presume you cut them to fit a new tyre, I ask as I'm having problems sourcing some matching rims for my hot rod build- I need smaller front wheels than the rear - If not smaller, then making the front's narrower would work but then I still have the issue of getting a tyre to fit. I found proline deperado's with road rage tyres that come in 3.8 and 2.8 sizes... unfortunately the 2.8's are a bit small for the front. Sorry for Hi-jacking your excellent build thread with my dumb questions and ramblings...

For sale is my Hyper 7 TQ Sport Black edition, comes boxed in pretty good condition although does need a nice clean up and a tune. Other than that, works great. It has only ever done around 20 tanks of fuel so plenty of life left in this buggy. Engine is a .21 3 port with very good compression. Comes with 2 sets of off road wheels, a glow starter, some tire glue, standard tools that come with box, all manuals, after run oil, HoBao 2.4GHz system, hump pack to power rx and a 3 in 1 charger to charge TX, RX and Glow plug all at once. Looks ace bud it's a shame there's no decent crawling scene in the north west, I gave it a good try but crawling on your own gets a bit boring.

I thought they may of been mad force axles...Do you know what the original measurement (Hex to hex) they are originally? And any chance you could explain how you narrowed them as well? They do look odd when the diff isn't centred so I may do the same if I can, sorry to be a pain but I'm really wanting to get started on my build

wow thats a load of good advice, im not a novice to all nitro cars, i just havent used them in a year or so, im just more of a petrol head with classic minis. i understand the basics and have tried most of them, i will go through the check list and tick them off one by one just to double check though. not giving up on nitro, nothing better than the smell of fuel and seeing the speed of the cars. thanks all
