Have to agree with Gavin, the only way to learn is to get stuck in yourself. It's really not difficult. Reset your needles to factory/break-in settings and then adjust accordingly from there. There's plenty of guides & information in the General Nitro section to get you going. If your not confident doing it blind then follow one of the many YT videos online. It's surprisingly simple to tune an engine for general bashing. (However it can be a complete faff when aiming for peak performance for racing.) We all had to start somewhere after all...2 points

short version : take a bmx , turn it upside down, add some dropdown handlebars, mod a front wheel to carry a 20" disc and brake caliper. find a very longish steep road and this is what you get. no pedals just gravity and rider skill ( ballz) so shall we get some [media=]1 point

29cc is usually a 35mm head and piston and a 2mm stroker. Never had much luck with my billet head. Asked for info about getting best tune etc on the american baja forum and more people suggested i steer clear of it than people giving any info. Check your squish...too much compression can blow the top ring on the head over a thread as it only screws on. This is what happened to mine : (1 point

if your planning on breaking the car take all the parts off and then list them its easier that way and plus you can check the condition off each part atm you dont really know what your selling or even if it works as you had it for like 1 day1 point

I had one of these billet 29cc heads in my old fg marder/monster beetle and it had some grunt. If its all working well you won't be disappointed especially if you're upgrading from a 23/26cc stock engine lol The one I had made my heavy hopped up fg monster beetle wheelie1 point

I have done a stud mod on mine but have used chemical metal and nuts too. I filed the fins down a little behind the back of the holes, enough to get a nut in. Then wound a m5 ( by whay ever size you need ) making sure the nut grabs on the rear of it, then put some chemical metal around the nuts. I put some chemaical metal on the threads too. Then when it dry cut the head of the bolt of to what size you need, thus leaving 2 studs sticking out from engine1 point

Nearly as poor as me looking at my bank statement, think buying another Baja and blowing my driving lessons fund on it was in hindsight a bad idea Back to the street corner for me1 point

mixed reviews on the telemetry, some like it, others don't. As far as runtime goes, you're right, you can't get an hours runtime from one pack; overall runtime depends on many variables - how you drive, pack size, C rating, motor size, gearing, tyres, surfaces etc etc but, in simple terms , the bigger the MaH the pack has, the longer the runtime Personally, after each pack, I let my esc/motor cool for a short time before banging more packs in, but that's probably just over-cautious me As Jony pointed out, there are many sellers of good quality lipos and prices vary dramatically. Not that I like shamelessly plugging the guy, but I would suggest you check out Suicideneil's lipo thread as it gives you good info what you need to know. If not, he may proffer useful advice anyways (ie, 'read my lipo thread') :xd: HTH1 point

Blimey - go away for the weekend and had about 6 pages to catch up on!! Congrat's Rich. And Ting - you never cease to amaze me!! lol. Good Luck with the wedding photograher gig . Get as much practise in beforehand mate! Squirrel - from a town park in Bognor - pretty tame. Pretty much as shot - removed a few green "bits" from the background that were distracting - and a slight sharpen - but only around the face, chest and arms! Squirrel by Mac 2012, on Flickr1 point

Ask some of the other guys what gear ratio they are using, and use that to work out what pinion you need, the manual for the Mi1 should have a chart in the back.1 point
