.28 Engines

Spider diffs (4-bevel) are a must, i have ran a savvy without HD drivetrain with .28's in and apart from the diffs, you should be fine.

You might end up with a few twisted driveshafts after a few weeks, but nothing too bad, just change the diffs, slap it it, and replace as you need too :)

McGoo, im in the same situation as you. I have £60 sitting here from xmas prezzies and im really tempted to buy the sts .28 ....... thing is my 25 l/e is practically brand new and im not sure if its worth it yet or not. I really need a new engine or a new carb because my carb swivels arounf lol!?!

If your carb swivels around you would of lost the carb screw out of the side.

If you have ONLY just got it id break it in sell the engine on ebay and get the sts .28 as you will get at least £50 for it on ebay if its new.

But i dunno what extra parts you will need to stop wear.

Might be wise to ask ur LHS.
