Just tryed to start my savage 25 up this mroning and when it starts up the engine it constantly reving ..... when i pull the throttle it stops a bit, but still revs! Can anyone tell me what it could be and how to sort this problem cheers rofl

ye i took the backplate off to try and change it to a pull start, but the pull start i bought was too small so i put the roto back on and took the pull start back to the shop

lol, cheers peeps will pull it apart later to check knowing me, something simple and stupid lol

I havnt had my engine in for a while, had it out to clean ....... i tried the roto start in just now after putting the engine back in ..... say now if i turn the roto start, is the engine supposed to try and turn over, even with no glow plug and no fuel ........? i was just trying to see make sure it was ok, but it doesnt turn over when i turn the roto. Just spins freely! cCheers
