+1 on that, got a small tube that's lasted years, has a nozzle on the end for getting to all those nook's and crannie's too

EDIT..never realised it was water soluble though !

Anyway I use silicone grease on differential gears (not in them, I use oil in them lol), my uncle gave it to me a while back, works great.

im after some grease for general use on tamiya mainly off road gearbox suspension parts etc

Silicone grease lol I'm not on about anything dodgy.

Iv got tones of it left over from my airsofting days, used to use it in the gear boxes of the guns as it's o ring friendly

You can get a tub if silicone grease off eBay cheap. It's what scuba divers use to grease up and seal there equipment with. I bought mine from a scuba shop. also the food industry uses it in appliences as it doesn't do humans any harm if ingested lol... But it doesn't taste as good a vasaline That's a joke... Lol
