I was stupid enough to buy 4x4freaks 18mt.lol It clicked when straining, ie: longish grass and accelerating. I stripped it down and found it was already shimmed, i decided it needed more so made a home made washer for the back and put 3 on the front. this made it better for a little while. but now it clicks worse than before, and i guess the back gear has been damaged. i believe i need to replace that gear and shim (with 3) the rear diff again. Could there be any other causes? Where is best to get shims from? would it be easier to buy a new rear diff'? (does it come with the shims and gear on it) Do the D rings in the diff' still need glueing on the latest models aswell? any part numbers would be great (as phill forgot instructions) i'll strip it down tonight and report any findings, but help in getting the parts ordered would be great cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
