std mini-t yes, but not the mini-t pro

but yes the zk2 totally rules and i loved it whilst i had it!

It comes a Damm Close 2nd to the Mini T Pro and with a Few Hopups of its Own (To Bring it inline with the Cost of a RTR Mini T Pro) it would beat it Pretty easy i think.

Man its such an Amazing Truck.

Great For Long Wheelies.

How much have yu spent on it to get it that good though?

If you did the same to a ZK2 it would be so so Much Better.

And you would not need to do half of it cause its so strong and got most fetures anyway.

difference is that the zk-2 is a monster truck (micro) and the mini-t is a stadium truck (micro)

that's like saying whats the xxx-t is like compared to a savage

although i want a zk-2

the zk2 is the monstor truck style.

the zt2 is the stadium truck.

i have not seen a zt2 ANYWHERE on the planet mind you :(

if you can afford to get the mini-t pro and add your own electrics i would do that.

if you only want an rtr id have to say that either will be fine..

if you pm me ill send you a link to a hopped up zk2 that one of my users currently owns.

its sweet :)

get a graupner speed 300, i have one running on an 8.4V pack (which i reccomend you buy from maxamps) and it is ballistic, and its only £9, just get a cheap micro esc off ebay, and a hitec HS-55 or if you want more speed and power (but a bit of dremelling) get a HS-81MG

get your batterys from www.unitedrc.com (email Jon there, tell him Cris from UK-MicroRC sent you. There are the number one place for cells and cheaper than UK prices by miles)

if you want a brushless mamba set up (motor and esc) get that from www.unitedrc.com aswell.

if you want a cheap brushed esc get a futaba MC330CR, it can handle above a 300 sized esc which is better.

a speed 300 motor is an awesome improvement over the std motor, like Monstorous said, about £9 from a lhs. either that or the K3 tuned motor from UnitedRC.

Get a VERY small reciever. I use a futaba R142JE which is 40mhz AM for me.

that should be your lot ;)

  • 4 weeks later...

Why does it need a wheelie bar to mak it wheelie? this may sound stupid but i obviously dont know the answer. Also could you please tell me which motor is better the graupner speed 300 or the Team Orion Baja motor

you dont need a wheelie bar to wheelie, they will just stop you from flipping the truck most of the time.

id say go for the speed 300 cos of the price..ive never used the other motor though..

hth.
