Before you start going for performance stuff, id start to beef it up a little, make it a little les prone to braking. Such as the center skd plate, just lookat the under neath, fancy a rock or some thing ripping all that out? Next on the list wold be a fuel tank guard. not as essential as a center skid but if you think about what the tyres are flinging up, you can esialy punture a hole i to the fuel tank. Next on the list would be a 6 volt rx pack. these give you hoursof play time as well as loads more power to the servos. I personaly have the venom one, but hpi also do ne. they range from around 10-20 quid.

Next id get a carbon fiber disc or any thing to improve the stock ones. The rest is up to you i suppose, although you dont have to buy the things above, just a sugestion. I would also recoment investing into a new pair of wheels and tires, but they are not essential, just improves performance so much.

Also a new exhuast i would think! just unlocks that extra power fromthe engine.

All these can add up, but are great in the long run. Its taken me about 5 months to get all these parts, and i only live of 25 quida month! as well as few extra quid from my perants.

I think i might invest into a 3 speed gear box once a few reports come out. I think itl give me more gear choises, as well as more performance.

EDIT: ah yes, and an air filter;)

IMO the first few hop ups would be 6-volt hump pack and charger, 3-way charging lead(so you don't have to open the nasty radio box),and a fail safe.

I would then look at fitting the new cam type servo saver with a higher torque steering servo to help turn the truck better, next would be to get rid of the poor throttle/brake servo saver and do the throttle/brake mod that a lot of people do. This will put the truck on its nose with the standard servo and stantard disc!

first things would be servo saver, uprated server (hi-torque), fuel filter, airfilter, dual brakes.

most of this can be found on ebay for far better prices.

Fuel Filter > Seller Bluetinblue

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5967762477&rd=1

i buy alot of my stuff of this guy comes nxt day depending when u order the item.

AirFilter> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5967557852&rd=1

Uprated servor - http://modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=Show...on&ItemID=11169 - hitech HS-645MG (more then enought torque)

Dual Brakes - Cheaper here - ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW

Servo saver >u got ?

4 Bevel Gear mod > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW or modelsport http://modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=Cate...CategoryID=7010

Fuel tank guards and center skids arnt to important at first.. i dont have one and havnt broke anything in hard bashing yet... also make truck heavier.

The S-25 already comes with a ribbed pipe which is fine for performance wise. i would also invest in anti snap aireials couple of pound for 4 of ebay. got me some and they bend like anything buy stay up straight still when driving.. also uprated fuel lines . cheap mods but look nice :D also a pair of shock socks keep dirt out of shocks £5.95 from bluetinblues shop on ebay,

Center Skid > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW

There is a very good track for monster trucks at controlfreaks race way in Celcinnin-it is quite near to Aberystwyth.

Take this link

www.controlfreaks.uk.com

They are very friendly and helpful-plus they have a 4 day Max bashing event coming up at their track on the May bank holiday weekend.

throttlen? lol

That spring that hooks on one end of the carb to the other.

I think theres no point in that but i have one and dont use it. dont think my servo will have the power to pull the carb open with it.
