Shame about the trees though! There is a brilliant bashing site near Bourne End Village near Slough. Its a huge open space, bikers use it during the week sometimes so its got jumps of all sizes, pits, long straight flat bits, off road flat bits, 8ft tall hills to climb up and down etc. Its about 30m walk away from a road and carpark. It even has a lake, if you have RC boats. Its well worth the trip if you live 40mins away or so, you can easily spend all day there. About half way along it changes to switchback road. Just before the change, (from cookham to maidenhead) there is a railway bridge. On the left hand side about 50m before the bridge there is a turning called Lightlands lane. Follow the lane to the end and you will come to a T junction. On one side there is a static caravan park, on the other side there is unknown things. Straight ahead there is a gate which is locked but there is a style and its marked as a public right of way. Go over the style, walk along the track for about 50m, and the woodlands on the left hand side will eventualy stop and you will see bashing heaven over a small grassy area.
