  1. Hi all, due to lockdown and plenty of time on my hands i thought I’ll get back into my r/c. Anyways had a stripped spur on my e firestorm and could not find a spur gear anywhere, only in China and couldn’t wait that long. I was looking at different 48dp spurs and noticed Arrma had some that may work. Got the parts in today and managed to fit them in perfectly 🥳. These are the parts you need: AR310019 87t spur, they do other variations but I stuck to stock firestorm 87t. AR310584 slipper pads. The only thing you need to do is Dremel out a little it of the spur hole, around .5mm so it’s a snug fit, it’s better tight than loose 😅. Go carefully and you should be good, you may be able to use a drill bit also but not sure if the size you would need. As the slipper pads cover more area you might not need them as tight as the stock ones. Hope this helps anyone struggling to find a spur.
  2. thing with silver bullion is that you have to pay a premium +VAt so

  5. I have a ezrun combo in mine and it's plenty fast This was in summer and the maxx was running on NIMH. With Lipo it's even faster.
  6. Heres a vid of it, its actually snoopmaxx who is a member on here but he is more on rc-monster I think. The speed isn't there really unless you go brushless and if its the old emaxx you proberly will need to spend
  7. This is in really good condition perfect for balancing cells to whatever voltage you require. Contact via PM please. Looking for
  8. These cells are excellent quality and TBH I haven't really used them that much. Some cells could do with new shrink wrap where its peeling but apart from that the performance is still there. Always been balanced on Novak SE smart tray. I've got 100% positive feedback on ebay. Contact me via PM please. Looking

    laptops

I bought one of these acer's a few months back can't beat the value and spec for the money. All round excellent laptop can't fault it! Acer 5735-644 I paid instore
  11. I bought this one from the seller, they were good to start with but after 4-5 runs they casing had cracks in it. That wasn't even bashing really just straight runs. After a couple more runs the casing completly broke. It cracked and broke from where the screw mounts are....I don't know if it was my fault as I didn't use the rubber grommets but I can't really see if that was the fault. I also noted that the servo sometimes got stuck and took a while to get back to normal postion. I've had to use stock Traxxas 2055 servo now and no issues with that apart from it's not strong enough. I won't buy TP but spend a bit more for Savox or other good makes at least they are more likely to last.
  12. Have you tried ANTICS in Broadmead? I'm sure they tune up cars as I've seen a geeza in there doing it...Should'nt cost too much either.

    Hex drivers

Even though these aren't drivers but "L" keys and they are ball ended so it's easier to use from different angles rather than just straight. Really good quality too not rounded off any or even a sign of wear. But you proberly won't use the bigger sizes unless you work for IKEA screwfix
  14. +1 the flex in the bulk head goes through the diffs and will wear them out. Alloy BH are available on ebay just be careful which ones you buy make sure they are 6061 or even 7075 but they are pricey.
  15. Hmmmm...thats odd. Is the teflon washer intact? It could be it's not meshing properly. Whilst it's open get new diff gears and try that. Look here
  16. It might be that there might be slight wear and you can't see it by eye. When I opened mine up the inside off the diff cup was totally worn and I could see teeth missing. Did you clean it and then look for damage?

    brushless q

^^^ If I'm not mistaken I think yours copes because it is lower turn and doesn't have the torque of the ezrun. I don't know how many turns the ezrun is but its rated at 2350kv and the novak I think is about 4600kv.
  18. you need part number 4981 (diff cup) and 4982 (diff gears) should be under

    brushless q

I don't know what a savage is like on brushless but yeah if you want to save money then keep the emaxx stock/sell it get the newer one...I wish I did that now myself it would have been cheaper in the long run I think.
  20. Which model do you have coz the diffs have different part numbers for the 3906 and 3905. You will proberly need diff cup as well.
