The reciever and ESC are all one unit, and the servo has a unique plug, so yes you are stuck unless you replcae all 3 of thoe items. Saying that, the stock radio is very good quality and works really well oh any my motor and bearings came today, it makes a huge difference, noticeable difference with the motor and slightly longer run times too!
