Selling up my my kids cars to they can spend the money on something else. The tamiya is pretty much standard 27t motor, shell is a missing some paint but everything works ok. Wheelie king is mixture of a wheelie king and crawler king so doesn't just do mad wheelies but isn't geared as low as a crawler king so still decent speed and good for general driving, comes with s bunch of parts which I believe is everything to go back to a wheelie king, but not 100% £120 each collected, come with TX ready to run but no charger can include a 2s lipo for each or will sell both for £200 and will throw in a decent charger. Postage can possibly be arranged for extra but not the batteries

Weirdly almost a year to the day that last posted this thread. Reviving it as planning on finishing the project. Currently have 2.0 Erevo chassis, gearbox/motor mount, and front and rear diffs/bulkheads. I kind of forgot how far I got, I know I need driveshafts and some steering linkage parts. But unsure if I'm gonna need to use Erevo knuckles and arms etc which will obviously increase the cost a lot... But it's something to keep me busy and still a long way off buying a new Erevo 2 and I have a completely new drivetrain

Hi guys, My friend has given my his 2WD slash to fix while I haven't got much else to do! He said it lost steering so I swapped the steering servo with a spare I had but now it wouldn't drive! Connected the ESC to a different motor and spins fine so seems like the motor and servo both broke. It has the titan 550 12T in it at the moment with the standard ESC is there anything better I could change it for or would you guys recommend just replace with another titan? I've run a (admittedly higher turn) titan on 3s in one of my own cars and worked great never had a problem so not sure why this broke in a stock slash on nihms...

Not got time to use this at the moment unfortunately so up for sale loads of upgrades, has one small cut in the cage plastic I had to make to remove a rounded screw but all works spot on. Can come RTR with axial radio gear or without. Titan 550 motor so brushed but runs on 2s or 3s works great on 2s for crawling etc but on 3s it's actually pretty fast. Bodywork was painted on the outside in blue, using a bit of paint thinner it came off the front panel, just never got around to doing the rest. I already have V2 chassis and the diffs/bulkheads are coming as one complete part ? For reference 3.3 diffs/bulkheads fit straight on the V2 chassis, as they are smaller

After all this stuff sitting in a box for a few months I'm back on the project... Got erevo 2.0 diffs and centre driveshafts on the way so can start to put it together and figure out what else I need to make it work and buy upgraded parts from the off rather than. Just buying an erevo then buying the parts on top...

I use a titan 21t 550 in my bomber as its rated for 14v so runs nicely on 3s

I'd say it's the motor not coping with lipos. I had the same with the ripmax cars I got for the kids upgraded to lipos and went through loads of motors only a few quid each but meany they never ran for very long as the motors burnt out. Better off sticking with nihm or finding a better motor/brushless

What kind of cars? There not many tracks around anymore...

Started removing the horrid blue ? from the bomber as the previous owner had just painted the outside so seems to come off ok luckily

The motor won't draw any more current because of a higher c battery. So shouldn't make a difference unless the old battery was getting hot and struggling to power it

Bought myself some shelf racking today just got to put it up and will update later with pictures! Thanks for the ideas. I was going to make one like the above but the whole shelf system cost me about £30 so wasn't too bad

I'd say my tamiya Baja champ as it was my first proper RC car and I got rid of it because it was "broken" which I know realise was a simple fix. My Baja because I bought it stripped it down to every nut and bolt upgraded loads of stuff then used it twice and sold it for about £300 less than I'd spent on it... Really should have brushless converted it and I would still be using it probably. Maybe my rustler as I ruined it by making it waaaay to fast and before that it was actually really good.

This stuff is getting in my way so need it gone Baja spares there is around 60%+ full screw kit some old screws in the box but loads of them in there. A gearbox with no diff, one arm a hub some brand new bearing I never fitted. The small screw box will be included but I'm keeping the big one for other stuff. £15 which is pretty much just covering postage and a pint for me Rc18t carbon chassis 2 MIP cvds and a servo. Had this year's all of it is brand new £10 posted

That kind of rack looks ideal @Tintin thanks. I'll have a look what I can find a few shelf brackets might be enough to do the trick.

I know have 4 cars and loads of radio gear etc. What good ideas have you guys got for books or something to hang the cars on the wall maybe or something like that? Don't have a lot of space only some smaller draws but need to get some boxes to organise the spares etc. Keep them in the house as have no garage and shed is too full/damp. Do people still use ammo boxes for lipo storage? But getting a bit fed up of keeping them on the dining room table...

That's a bit of a crazy story! Did you at least buy it back at a decent price?

@tomzac66 what hex bits did you get for it? I had trouble finding those longer ones when I was thinking about getting one

Started by swapping the from end onto the erevo chassis, all fits fine I will need some links for the steering from an erevo as servos are in a different position and I'm fairly sure I will need at least the centre driveshafts, I will use the 3.3 diffs to start with but I'm not expecting them to last long https://imgur.com/gallery/4TqgeXR
