  1. Me and a mate went to check this place out too yesterday. Was bloody freezing lol. Like you said, the surface was bumpy. I don’t think it was the best place to bash in all honesty. Also, not good if you have a child as when i was there, we seen lads on dirt bikes and lads getting drunk at 11am. Madness.
  2. Hi guys, I have x2 Overlander 5000mah 3S lipos and use an Overlander RC-D100 Charger. Both lipos have been in storage mode for a few months and I’ve charged them today and both lipos have been stuck on 99%, however just now the charger has bleeped and showed “Cell Error” message. Is this something i need to worry about ie get rid of the lipos and buy new ones or do i need to do something to rectify the issue? Thanks in advance. (Won’t let me upload images) First lipo shows 4.20 - 4.20 - 4.16 Second Lipo shows 4.20 - 4.20 - 4.18
  3. How would i shorten the wheel base? I’m not the greatest when it comes to “amending” stuff hence why i was looking for straight fit body shells lol
  4. As the title says guys, what other body shells fit the TRX-4 other than the Discovery/Bronco & Tactical Unit? I'm wanting something similar to the Discovery..are their body shells like a Range Rover by any chance? Looking for shells that literally fit straight on also. Thanks in advance.

For Sale is my Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL I have upgraded the below parts on the RC: Blue Aluminium Shock Caps Blue Aluminium Wheel Nuts Traxxas Rubber Tyres for Wheelie Bar Blue RPM A-Arms (Can supply x3 standard Traxxas ones as well) Progressive Springs (Blue) - Stiffer Rebound Suspension - (Can supply x4 original Traxxas Springs as well) Fastrax Steel Driveshafts Front & Rear (Can supply x3 original Plastic Traxxas Driveshafts as well) Proline Mashers are currently on the truck (White pen marking on tyres) Standard Traxxas Stampede Wheel & Tyres included (Ran a few times,then i upgraded to the Mashers) Proline Chevy 1972 C-10 Painted in Black (Shoegoo/Fibreglass on the inside of the body shell) Proline Ford Raptor F-150 Painted in Red (Shoegoo/Fibreglass on the inside of the body shell) Comes with Proline Lowering Mounts Installed (Can supply the original mounts also) Comes with a JConcepts Undertray (Keeps chassis clean - can be used in snow) Comes with the original box. This RC car is in a used condition so the chassis has a few scratches on it. Likewise goes for the bodyshells. The black body shell has only been bashed once and landed on its roof so has a few slight scratches but in good condition. This is a clean well maintained example. Photos also form part of the description so study them well. No returns due to the nature of the hobby. Looking for £400 but open to offers. PayPal or Cash on Collection from Bradford or Leeds (Alwoodley) I have stated £20 for Postage but if it is cheaper when i post, i will refund the difference.   8. What sort of surface isit at Shadwell Quarry? I may just pop down and have a look as im not too far from there..in Alwoodley once a week. Is it good for crawling by any chance aswel as bashing?
  9. Hi Guys, I have just seen a post about an indoor racetrack somewhere in Wakefield. Not sure if the rock crawling part has been completed as of yet. (Waiting on replies) I was just wondering if any of you guys know of any more places that have some form of Rock Crawling tracks that are preferably indoors in West Yorkshire? Tia
  10. Wow this is amazing. I have been looking everywhere for an indoor place that i could pay to bash. Is this for members only? If so, how much is the membership please? I have recently bought a TRX-4 and not found anywhere decent enough to crawl. Seeing the above photo, has that crawling track already been designed and made or is it a work in progress?
  11. The standard stock pinion was 11T I believe. I’ll revert back to that as that allowed me enough time to bash without the esc shutting down. I have a heatsink on the motor currently and have literally just purchasd an infrared thermometer so will do some runs and check temperatures correctly. Reading online and i see alot of folk are using a castle motor/esc in the stampede..would this be a straight swop as in i can throw in a new motor/esc without any amendments and if so what would you guys recommend? The stampede is fun and i think its only due to me having a HPi Vorza that bashing that buggy then coming back to the Stampede just gives me the illusion that the Pede is slow ??‍♂️
  12. I’m pretty sure if an X-Maxx can run 8S and it states that on the box, then you would ideally run it on 8S? Similar with the Stampede, it says can run 3S which is what i have tried using. ? The stock pinion and 3S was running hot but the esc was not going into thermal protection so i thought changing the gearing would have helped. Unfortunately me gearing it up, resulted in the esc shutdown today. The Proline Mashers are slighly heavier which could be a factor but i have previously put the original tyres back on and experienced the same on stock gearing and 3S..the motor just runs stupidly hot..but esc was fine. If i was to switch to a 9T pinion i would lose top end but would this ideally lower the temps on the motor? What motor/esc combo would you recommend without having to “Drill or cut” the chassis? Tia
  13. Hi guys, I have a Stampede 4x4 VXL which i am currently running on 3S. I currently have Proline Mashers on, with Fastrax Steel CVD’s and a few RPM parts ie A-Arms, Shock caps etc Now i am currently setup on stock gearing and have realised that the Velineon Motor runs very hot. (Can touch the motor for literally a few seconds). I have now tried the optional 17T pinion gear and after bashing on concrete surface the ESC tripped into thermal protection mode within 5mins. I have read online people saying that the Stampede shouldn’t be ran on 3S but clearly the Pede is capable of running this lipo (as stated on the box & esc) Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Stampede 4x4 VXL & what have you done to rectify the overheating of the motor? I don’t wish to run 2S as this MT states it can run 3S. Also, has anyone tried like a 9T pinion? Thanks in advance.
