Patch Mallendar Posted August 14, 2023 Share Posted August 14, 2023 Hello.zero on knowledge on this..the clod buster has stopped moving forward or back.The servo moves the contact over the mechanical speed controller.steering works. AndyMB Posted August 14, 2023 Share Posted August 14, 2023 I think from memory that wire bit needs to be attached to the spade bit int he centre. It looks like it's broken off. Could also be dirty contacts or the white ceramic resistor could have blown. Nice to see you still have all the old radio gear in there working 👍 Can't beat a Clod Buster. I would be looking to replace that unit, as you can see how it has been getting cooked from the disclouration and generally tired looking state of the variable resistor wiper. You may be able to find an old MSC in good order if you want to keep it original, or swap to an ESC.
