Diffs on 1/8th cars

This may be a stupid question but just wanted to check.
1/8th's are similar to 1/10ths yeah.

I have just got my 1st (2nd hand) nitro car ran it for a  bit on the weekend but when i was cleaning it. I tried turning the back and from wheels.  Normally when I hold one wheel in my hand and turn it on my 1/10th the oppposite wheel goes a little in the other direction. This want happening with the front or back the opposite wheel was just stationary.

Is this corect? and is it a big issue for driving on dirt?

Thanks in advance

The diffs work in exactly the same way.

Quite often, though, 1/8 trucks will have a centre diff....and that can have an effect, but if the diffs are moving freely then your opposite wheel should turn the opposite way.

It might be worth have a little look at what's inside and giving th diffs a service
