At the same time, I fitted the servo as well. It was tight! But a bit of wiggling about, managed to get it down in the mount. 

 

Then wired them up to the receiver.

Have put all back together and it's looking good. 

 

Now... Time to take apart the diffs and make sure it has enough fluids in there. Hope it has enough in there as I don't have anything to top it up as it's on order. 🙄

In regard to the cap pack I’d leave it off check things regularly and go from there plenty of folks don’t use it and run 6s 👍

The center diffs... Is it just me or it doesn't look 'full' to me?

When I removed the gear, I did see the fluids breaking away from the internal gears, so it might be full anyway?

What brand of fluids should I go for? I already have the Associated Factory Team Silicone Diff Fluids (10k) on order, but don't have the 100k as it's out of stock. However I do have the option to buy the Fastrax CML Racing Pure Silicone Diff Oil 100,000 cst which is the same as 100k? Is the brand okay?

Found a local hobby store have CORE RC Silicone Oil - 100000cSt in stock for tomorrow pick up. Is this OK?

Core RC is the stuff I use, it’s Schumacher Racing own brand 👌

Yours looked 'fuller' than mine. I'm not taking the chance and will wait for new fluid to arrive.

My EXB diffs were more like yours than Doddy’s, it’s completely pot luck if they are filled correctly.....

Just picked this up from the local hobby shop this afternoon and will sort the center diffs tomorrow. 

 

Hopefully I will have the 10k ones delivered tomorrow as well. 👍

I'm confused and hoping you can help. 

 

Manual do not tally up with what I have found for the rear diff.

Page 16 and 17 is the same as my paper manual.

 

BUT, with the exploded diagrams, it does match with what I have - https://www.arrma-rc.com/pdf/exploded-views/ARA106053.pdf - page 5

 

I guess they changed the design of the diffs but didn't bother with updating the paper manual or the PDF manual?

 

Can anyone confirm my thinking?

Have contacted support to see what they say about the diffs and the manual/exploded diagrams. 

 

In the meanwhile, the center diff has been topped up and looks good now. 

 

Front and rear diffs are sort of almost full but I'm happy with it for now until the 10k diff fluid arrives. 

 

Tested the servo, motor, etc and all appears to be well. But it's dark outside so will give it a good testing tomorrow. 👍

The old style rear diff was the one with problem, so they fitted the same as the front in the rear for the updated model, they obviously didn’t update the manual

"The online manual for your vehicle is up to date. If your copy of the manual is different, then you most likely have the 1st batch"

No idea, you have the latest model, it has full lsd diffs front and back

In the New updated version of the EXB these are how the diffs should be if not you have a older version of the EXB 

 

 

Also note by swapping out the position of those plates changes the amount of slip you get 👍

I *think* I have the updated version because when I took apart the rear diff, I seems to recall it matching with the diagram you posted. ( see my earlier photo)

 

I've put the truck together and don't want to take it apart all over again lol. I'm still waiting for the 10k fluid to arrive anyway, more likely after Christmas as Royal Mail has cancelled the delivery guarantee!

Rain stopped testing so a proper run will have to wait for another day. But look what arrived in the post today? 

 

 

So will be taking apart the front and rear diffs to top them up.
