martin34 Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 Hi a mate at work has an old tamiya ford ranger that he has dug out of the cupboard and wants me to get a battery for it.I looked on ebay and they have an overlander sand scorched one that looks the same shape.Does anyone know if they are the same? TWINSET Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 (edited) Yes, Sand Scorcher/Buggy Champ and Ford Ranger have the same battery box So long as it's 5 cells at the bottom and one at the top, it should fit The originals were in a hard-case But something like this works fine; Tell him to go careful - the Ranger is the only one of that range not to be re-released so the body is pretty desireable and very expensive to replace!
