I was not impressed with the gool rc motors for  8 scale, I had a 1700kv 4276 and a 2000 kv4276,  I used them in a 8 scale truggy and monstertruck and not high geared, the motors get hot real quick, then I put a hobbywing xerun 1800kv 4274 in the truggy and it was much beter, more powerfull and way less heat.

The 2000kv in my monstertruck I replaced with a turnigy xk 2200 kv 3674 motor the motor was smaller then the gool rc motor but had the same power and less heat.

So you are better of buying something lika a hobbywing motor and esc, and if you want a cheap motor the purple can turnigy xk motors are good, and castle motors for the esc I advise hobbywing.
