Don't know what's it's called, which is why called it a joint. Its the left plastic stick which is broken. It was superceded by the hsp 'brontosaurus'... Which looks very similar but has an alloy top plate... This is another pic of your model of hsp... You can see the front chassis to shock tower brace clearly in all four pics... Yours is missing its centre bridge piece that joins the two braces together in the middle....... Which is why you can't visually identify it... Because it looks different to a new one.... That is the part you need, you can see with the centre bar piece in place it looks different to how yours currently is.. Here is an alloy 'upgrade' one Link...
