Just trying to get to a total cost before committing. I'm grateful for any input as my experience and knowledge barely skims the surface. Much of this matches what I used when I built my Wraith: First things first... I'm running NiMH batteries. GoolRC 35T motor. The RTR Gelande uses a 45T motor with NiMH so I am seriously considering whether I should be 45 or 55T? Should I simply use the RC4WD motor? Hobbywing QUICRUN 1060 1080 Brushed Waterproof ESC Power HD LW20 Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo - Blue Castle BEC - 10A Peak 25V Max Flysky FS GT3B with receiver Whadyathink? I'm try8ing to hit that sweet spot where I don't spend a small fortune but also don't miss out on the benefits of spending a little. The GoolRC motor looks "purposeful" compared to the RC4WD and other similar tin cans with spindles - is it simply because the brushes are replaceable?
