FTX MAULER Query

Hi, everybody, so I've just ordered a Ftx mauler and I would lake to change to body, what I would like to do is get a Scx10 Honcho body to put on it, reason being is because it isnt the full length of the the chassis as I know the mauler is a lot longer wheelbase than the scx10, now could I put position the shell so it sits nicely over the front wheels  then I would make a cage for the rear, would this be possible or am I missing something. Would the shell be wide enough. Many thanks for any help.

I fitted the ftx mighty thunder shell at first to mine, i have just fitted shorter links to the rear and fitted a ford f150 proline shell onto it and used a cut down traxxas rustler drive shaft for the rear, got my links from asia tees

Hi  have you got any pictures, the reason I'm thinking the honcho shell would work as it doesn't have to line up with both front and rear wheels, if I can get it lined up with the front wheels, I can make a cage for the rear, I'm just hoping the shell would be wide enough.

no pics on here sorry, it seems easier to change the rear length than the front though if that helps
