My name is Adrian and I'm just about (in a week actually) about to turn 51 (amazed I've made it this far!!). I've had a fascination with RC stuff ever since I was nowt but a young wipper-snapper (some may gather from that that I'm from Nottingham...). I had a superbly slow and disappointing Porsche-Le-Mans type RTR car when I was a wee lad but never used it as it chewed through the C/D cell batteries in no time! About 20 years (ish) ago I bought a Tamiya Escort kit from the now unfortunately gone Beatties here in Notts. Sadly, life n stuff got in the way of me ever getting the fun out of it that I always wanted. I'm hoping to get the escort back up and running and am here hoping for some tips n stuff. I also just got hold of a Heng Long Tiger (my second actually... The first I only had for a few weeks and it didn't have the smoke and sounds..) that I want to eventually upgrade with a proportional turret rotation and barrel system and a descent paint job!.
