Any petrolheads on these forums?

I have a 2006 impreza STI widetrack and an Astra GTC turbo.

I would be interested too too see what other people have. I spend my summer taking my Subaru to shows and event. Love it :D

@Carpmart nice M5 mate! Is that the F10? Must be close too 600bhp. Nice :D my brother has the M140i, not quite on the level of yours mind.

Yes mate, F10.  It’s running almost bang on 650 at present!  The 140’s/135’s are very tuneable. Get your brother to have a chat with Evolve tuning!  :good:

this was my baby, only used to come out for 3 shows a year and had its own feature in fast ford magazine, bought it for 7k and on the way home the wheel fell off lol, took it to a performance garage, 3 weeks later a bill for 16 grand but I didn't have to spend £2500 on brakes and the carbon fibre on the front bumper and respray lol

^ That looks a lot of fun!!

Was a good laugh, didnt have money at the time for a propper ecu and a map, so i ended up playing with timing and turning boost up. Drove it daily for 6months until it left engine parts all down the road

Lol, Scoobynet was very good back in the day, as in the turn of the century. It went South around 2004 on imho, think it was around then that the forum was sold.

We were pioneers in the beginning, pushing the tuning to unknown levels and lots of misinformation and debate, R&D, It was trial and error. Now the tuning paths are well trodden with lots of tuners. The people with the hard earned knowledge from the outset have mostly moved on.

A lot of knowledgeable folk on 22B.com, most of them moved over to that forum for serious technical discussions.

@saviown ahhh I’m with you now. Yeah I know scooby net but don’t use it. I’m very active on subaruownersclubuk though. When I had my first Subaru, a 2002 wrx about 10 years ago, I went on their for a bit and it was absolutely crawling with a** holes. Not been on since
