mond Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 (edited) I don't see how the screws going through the rubber is a good thing. You've gone from a tried and tested pressure system with the whole bead engaged to having essentially a serrated object in the rubber itself in contact with a small surface area. If a bead is so badly designed it will pull out of a bead lock, an M2/3 screw is going to make no difference. Also, open cell foams on a large scale tyre.
