ScreenByte
Hi all. I've keep leaving the hobby and then returning. Over the years I've gone from small to large scale, nitro to petrol and electric. After a few years away I've got the urge again but need some advice. I want Nitro, Truggy 1/8th or bigger and fast, really fast. What can I buy, build or adapt to make an off road monster please? I don't want a savage, I've had enough of those. ScreenByte
Thanks. I've seen some people fit 1/5th scale wheels on some truggy's if that's an option. What about engines sizes, what's the biggest I can get/fit?

dazp1976
Not much point in buying a truggy then spending money to do a MT crossover. I'd be inclined to go for a nitro Hobao Hyper MT.

RCbutcher
Hot bodies d8t nitros go fairly cheap i think. Bl one on here tempting me but i cant be botherd with rc atm. I think the HB D8T might have the highest speed potential the vorza flies. So with good engine and unlimited gearing options? Idk if true im guessing diff ratios will be different between D8/D8T or BL/Nitro. Plus have good spur pinion options. It could be the traxxas of 1/8 buggy/truggy. mond
So the diffs explode, the ESC sets itself on fire and all the plastics need replacing with RPM?
