so from thinking I want to spend £200 on  a new BSD racing flux, I have since been persuaded to go for a used car, and have been brought in to the world of brushless hyper 7's! So with many numbers and letters to work out the meaning of (esc, 2000kv, 6s etc) I am trying to work out what to do!

Martin is a friend of mine, but my thoughts stand regardless.  I haven't seen this one in the flesh but from the pics it looks as new.  One of the (few) weaker parts of the H7, the knuckles have been swapped out for cnc ones so bar a huge prang they should last.  The only other upgrade I'd fit is Hyper ST front and rear shock towers - the stock one's are fine for flat work but like all rtr's they don't stand up long term to jumping.

As for combo 2650kv on 4S is the perfect match for the H7 imo - and i've run them with all sorts from 1800kv up.  5/6S is overkill for a 1/8 buggy - the small benefit in run time by using a lower kv motor on a higher voltage is lost when you can't fit a big enough lipo under the shell.
