HellaFlush
We were due to go out there for my 18th this weekend but our mate got messed around with buying his new caravan and lost over £2K he didn't really have. Shall be putting it on now!
supersavage
Will we see a couple of LMP2 cars on the podium, really feel sorry for Toyota.
atom3624
They've just been explaining about the 'sprint 24 hours' technique, whereby cars are at close to qualifying times / speeds, saying that the hybrid technology only works properly when running at this pace - basically Toyota had to go at that fantastic pace to make the package work. The '24' does seem to be missing Audi this year. Al.
atom3624
Well ..... What an amazing and dramatic ending ... in all classes .... !!! Worth watching for the drama, pity about the failures .... Will we be seeing LMP1's in the future, or will they all be LMP2? Needs more at the top I reckon - spice it up a bit more. Al.
atom3624
Getting the lad's (!!) Scalextric track going, has revitalised an old 'enthusiasm' I've had for the slot cars, together with the fantastic endurance cars from the mid-60's to present. Just purchased these 2: This one's 4WD with belts, one-way bearings on the non-driven wheels - alloy - will be fascinating to see how much of the slot car technology I need to use. Audi E-Tron 2013 #2 Winner 2013: This one's a replica of the 1/5 petrol I had 7-8 years ago. Beautiful detailing, ADJUSTABLE suspension / ride height, alloys all around ... Need to stop¬!! - recently purchased this one as well: It's SO WELL replicated that you can remove the non-smoking-advertising covers to reveal the period-correct 'Silk Cut' underneath - cannot replace but you would wouldn't you? !!
