Jeepster Posted April 17, 2017 Share Posted April 17, 2017 Hi guys, having problems with the engine on my car, it refuses to start have been told to heat it up with a hair dryer, changed the glow plug but won't start, on its final run when it was going it went through a puddle and stopped dead, I'm thinking this has damaged the engine it's now scrap, any ideas? Jeepster Posted April 20, 2017 Author Share Posted April 20, 2017 Thanks for all the suggestions, stripped the engine down checked everything, seems alright, only thing I seen was slight discoloration where the con rod attaches to the main shaft, don't know what to try next, still won't start, the glow plug seems to glow ok but I don't know how bright it should be?
