That's neat to see, reminds me of when we introduced the XL and Summit to my Dads Yeti..  

 

 

I have to admit, I do love using the Yeti as a ramp for the XL, who knew it was the perfect rear end to use as a launch pad!

I have been stalking other forums about bodyshells, managed to find an FG Hummer in a couple of different styles, truck and low rider. May get second hand and give it try.

Yep, looking about £84 from RC on line, in Germany. Spied a couple on EBay, so might take a punt.

Price is still steep, although it should last longer than lexan.

Hmmm, it's tempting to buy a few sheets of thin alloy and try to copy off my current panels.

Or maybe get some lexan and heat it up over the current panels.

Just been looking for the secondhand FG Hummer shell I spied on EBay earlier this week seems to gone, my fault fir not watching it, but have found a new shell from another German supplier, which is half the price of the other one?. Must be catch somewhere !!.

 

My new ESC mounting plate has arrived, that will be a job over weekend, as I am on rest days, which is very rare !.

Off to my local RC shop on Tuesday, the owner is a big Traxxas X Maxx fan, he has two version 1's and he's getting a version 2, sounds like a good opportunity for a head to head between the X Maxx & Yeti XL.
