The price drop is tempting me back now £489 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/arrma-outcast-6s-4wd-blx-brushless-rtr/rc-car-products/407288

Still needs another £50 knocking off imo but I'll probably buy one at £489 if turns out to be a solid basher

It's a step and I mean a tiny tiny step in the right direction but considering the price in the states is the same as the Kraton it needs dropping another £100 to be fair IMO ..

Under £400 and I'd probably pick one up for sure but at £490 it's still cheaper to pick up a Kraton £360 add a shell £40 and a chop shop chassis and drive shafts £40 to then have the option to run a swb or lwb and still save about £50 !!

Or just buy the Outcast from tower and import it to save about £70 !

Its a real shame Arrma have gone stupid on the pricing of this, priced right I reckon they would have had trouble keeping the shelves stocked but sadly they went and got greedy !!

I just cant understand there pricing at all

Some companies have gone mad recently while others are releasing some good competitive priced models. at sub 400 I would be interested but at nearly 500 it's madness. Surely if they priced it right they'd shift more.

Sorry I should have added I had some vouchers aswell as the discount code, got a little to excited there for a minute lol .. Thing is without the vouchers your best of waiting on UK stock as time you add the shipping and fees there's only about a tenner in it, which sadly makes it not worth the hassle and puts it way over what I'd say it's worth :(

Oh well. The Fazon is Nero based with the battery doors opening from the bottom. Not a fan of that system :( nor lay down shocks for that matter. May as well buy an e-revo.

Has a version of the HW Max8 and HW 2000kv so not all bad.

The diffs on the Nero look so much more robust than a revo though. I read lots of threads about how a good deal of revo parts need replacement but with the Nero it appears to just be trivial things like rod ends. That is until the chassis splits.

Got to be honest the Nero, big rock and the fazon just don't appeal to me not after the Nero had such a bad release then after just a couple of months they released the big rock and shafted all the Nero owners it sucked big time and there where a few angry Nero owners. Then couple the silly prices of all 3 and to me there just plain no goes..

On another note the Outcast jumps well

That's how much Slash platinum was, just a load of random discounts I never questioned? I always get a reduced rate for some reason? The show box sized orders cost $3-9

Yep they offer I'll take them, what's the deal on the reduced shipping then ? Is it like the slowest post none to man?  a guy in a little row boat and a lamp lol

I normally get my orders within 3 weeks, when I've paid reduced rate less than $10 postage. However, out of 11 orders only 2 got caught and taxxed, both for around $45-50. The rest came through no problem, I had a $200 and a $95 order come within 3 weeks with NO customs at all this week... I think reduced rate shipping goes economy (7-14 days, more like 21-25 I believe) generally slips through customs.... but cant prove that.

My Slash 4x4 Platinum cost about $50 to post (so not sure if reduced rate), got to UK within 3 days and took about a week in customs. I went and paid the customs charge and collected it from the depot around 10 days after I ordered.
