Popular Post bodgemonkey
Decided to be an absolute idiot. My LST2s has been sitting gathering dust and decided to do something stupid to one. The low range selector on the gearbox had me thinking...just how good a semi scale/Rock crawler would it make? The base. So the bodyshell had me thinking and scratching my head, until I came across this. It's an FG Pajero shell. As you can see, the wheelbase is a bit off ??, width wise, it's almost spot on. As the suspension articulates the tyres tuck into the arch nicely. Some slightly lower offset wheels would fit it perfect. Uncoupled the rear end. Extended 4 1/2 inches. Hopefully the weight being shifted forward will help stop it flipping backwards. Need to make the new upper and lower plates for it now, look at making a new centre CVD, and start buying the leccy bits. Hold tight for some updates and more in depth pictures of bodging to the highest calibre. Edited October 9, 2016 by bodgemonkey

bodgemonkey
Update with no pictures of the actual truck. Made the plates and bolted it all together. Still need to sort out driveshaft coupling. XERUN 2000kv motor sourced from evssv, just need to pick up an ESC now really. Proper shiny shiny brushless conversion kit on the way from the states. Last BL LST I had used the Losi mount and I wasn't a fan of it at all. This looks much better.

bodgemonkey
So Mike peer pressured me into buying that ESC, done a bit more trimming to the shell under tray but need to find some ways of fixing it to the LST chassis. Also ordered some m3 screws to replace the hateful hateful imperial jobbies
