Tamiya 280-ZX Datsun Original

I am looking for some information on this beastly piece of kit, it's all original and i would really like to get it moving so i can sell it on to someone, the original battery has some sort of strange tamiya connection that is two circles instead of the tamiya connectors today, i want to know if anyone has any advice on where to get the certain connector so i can try to charge the 35 year old NiCd that is probably gone past its life but i would like to try to see if it works, also in it's current state i would like an approximate evaluation, i have seen only one on ebay for £599 that is in mint condition, this one is too but the shell needs a little tlc, it also has the original transmitter and receiver.

bump reviving this after 2 years, heads broke off it now though, sat collecting dust still, anyone know where i could sell it or get parts for it?
