How many batteries are you going to have? Just the one or 2?

If you stick with a 2700mah 7.4v size then you'd need at least 25 watts, 3 Amps charge power per battery for 1C. As you go up in mah or voltage the charger requirements go up too.

The Overlander linked would be able to comfortably do 2 batteries of that size in parallel if wanted. Or a single 3s 2700mah for a moment of madness (40 watts)

If you get your batts from Hobbyking then you could get a couple of cheapo 12v input lipo chargers of 5A 50W which are plenty for a 2s battery on each then do this:

You could run 3 small 5A 50W chargers comfortably from that

I wouldnt get anything lower than a 5000mah Lipo. Id just get one or two Turnigy 5000mah 2s Lipos and a 50w mains charger. None of this messing about with awkward expensive external power supplies, and youll have two packs done in around 2 hours for minimal expense.

Cant see why people recommend Big external power supplies and 500w chargers to casual RCers when a pair of £20 lipos and a £30-40 charger will be more than enough for them

Didn't say 500w said 50w is enough per battery charged :P And an Overlander 80w is enough to do 2x 2s at once

Just giving ideas in case he plans on having more than 1 lipo.

Those hk cheapo chargers and xbox supplies are only like £12 each
