For sale is my immaculate Tamiya TA05V2-R touring car.

I bought this new a few years ago and took it to 2 meetings at a local indoor club before realising TC's aren't for me. As a result the chassis is in immaculate, virtually brand-new condition, there are no scratches or marks anywhere on it.

The V2-R is the IFS variant of the TA05, and being the R-version came supplied with a long list of Tamiya hop ups:

·  53894 TA05 Carbon Reinforced A Parts (Bulkhead)

·  54031 TA05-IFS Carbon Reinforced F Parts (Hub Carrier 4 degree)

·  54196 TA05 ver.II Carbon Reinforced K Parts (Stiffener)

·  53928 Short Reversible Suspension Arm

·  51333 TRF416 E Parts (Rear Upright)

·  51332 TRF416 C Parts (Front Upright)

·  53991 TA05-IFS Carbon Reinforced N Parts

·  51000 Hi-Torque Servo Saver (Black)

·  54145 TB-03 EX Urethane Bumper

·  54170 TA05 ver.II Low Friction Drive Belt (342mm)

·  54078 44mm Swing Shafts

·  54077 44mm Lightweight Rear Swing Shafts (Blue)

·  54076 TB-03 Wheel Axles

·  53500 Cross Joints For Assembly Universal Shaft Set

·  54071 TB-03 Aluminum Suspension Mount (1C)

·  54073 TB-03 Aluminum Suspension Mount (1E)

·  42102 TRF Special Damper (Hard Black Coating)

·  54174 TA05 ver.II Separate Suspension Mounts (1C-1XC)

·  54172 TA05 ver.II Separate Suspension Mounts (1A-1XA)

·  Front & Rear Stabilizers

·  New Aluminum Center Motor Plate

Additionally I have added a few more genuine Tamiya Hop-up parts, including:

-Aluminium suspension rocker arms (ballraced).

-Aluminium motor guard.

-Carbon fibre front bumper brace.

-Carbon fibre rear shock mount.

-Carbon fibre battery plate set.

-Full TRF on-road spring kit.

-TA05 spool.

-TA05 gear diff.

-Fully ballraced.

-Converted to 64DP with a couple of pinion & spur options.

-Sorex carpet tyre set, very low use (also have most of a can of Corally “Jack the Gripper” TC4 carpet tyre additive).

-Old set of carpet dragon practice tyres on unknown rims

Also has a large amount of spare plastic parts sprues.

My GT2 Porsche is also for sale. Its too pretty for me to drive it, and I have nowhere to display it, so it might as well go to a good home.

I bought it over 10 years ago as a battered Taisan Starcard Porsche (Tamiya part number 58172), and spent the last few years restoring it.

In this time the chassis has had: New tub, complete new rear gearbox casing, new Tamiya pinion, new RC Bearings ballrace set, and the suspension and steering has all been shimmed to remove any play/ slop. The car came to me with brand new friction dampers, it still has these as I've not driven it since it was restored. It also has a basic Hitec steering servo fitted. The front & rear bumpers are very scratched, and there's a few scratches to the bottom of the wishbones/ bottom of the front gearbox, but these are only cosmetic, there are no damaged parts on the car at all.

The bodyshell has been painted in Tamiya Anodised aluminium blue (quite a hard colour to photograph!), windows are tinted with Tamiya smoke paint, so are translucent. The stickers on the shell (only the front indicator lights, rear lights & rear number plate) are from the more recent GT2 release. The car has front light buckets fitted (from the Tamiya GT3 VIP shell), rear buckets will be included should you wish to try fitting them (the rear light area is painted with translucent red under the rear light stickers), there are no LED's fitted yet. The rear wing was shortened to look more like the road car version and is finished with a carbon effect film.

The Tamiya wheels are painted in the same blue to match the body, and are fitted with new Tamiya slicks (not glued).

Includes the original Taisan Starcard Porsche box, and a printed copy of the manual. If anyone would like any more photos, please feel free to ask.
