I used to own a Petrol Monster Truck couple of years back - but never got around to playing with it..as it was so noisy and kept breaking!

The had afew Vorza's, still have one + a Hpi Bullet.. Again not really played with..

Wanting to get back into it, just need to get out more and meet people!

Guy said car is tuned very well.

2.4gHz Spektrum transmitter and receiver and a battery charger.

Dont know anything about Petrol RC's - so will be reading up loads.. lol

Any thoughts, could it do with anything more at the moment?

Getting collected tomorrow..

paid £450 which i thought is a okay price...

Sure it will do me fine..for the few odd times it gets used..and guess will change bits as they break.

What is the purpose of the wheel wheel extender?

What's wrong with integy? As noticed they do a front bumper...£35..ain't cheap!

Wheel extenders make the stances wider so it handles better in theory... And Integy parts, while they look very pretty they are not very strong as the aluminium Integy use is very soft when compared to the quality of aluminium the other established brands use.

Integy don't really 'use' a soft alloy as such, the main problem is they buy there parts in from China... So it's VERY hit and miss as to whether you'll get something made of titanium or cheese

Just basically, avoid at all costs for this size of RC, some folk have success with smaller scale, but not on this size of RC.

RPM front bumper comes to around £24 on Abbots with postage and discount code.

They're nigh on unbreakable, don't be put off by it's size, in comparison to say the Uber one.

I've had near flat out head ons with other RC's and mines not cracked, they make superb quality plastics for these big RC's.

I thought, tax was only added if the value was higher then a set amount?

Yeah, $15... Plus postage, they count the postage cost as well, otherwise people could sell a $1,000 item for $10 with $990 postage costs.

The issue on things like that isn't the import fee itself, that will literally be about £1, it's Royal Mails handling fees, which are usually £8-12 for smaller items and up to £35 for big items.

And it's probably not an upgrade, if that's how it's listed, it'll be a Rovan or something similar, the 'upgrade' part will be the fact it's a 4 bolt over a 2, but on a stocker, there's nothing wrong with a 2.

Stick with CY or Zenoah for reliability :)

Do you mean the engine is a Rovon or something..guessing one of the cheap ones?

Beginning to think this was not a good buy..?

Car will be with me next week..

what should i do, check?

Should i just sell it on? and get a new one?
