Spektrum Receiver doesnt always work

Hi I am after some help.

 

I have a Losi Mini SCT and most of the time it is fine but sometimes when turning on the receiver doesnt always have a greenlight and after a few goes works

 

I have repaired it and tried a different transmitter and receiver and it looks to be the receiver (Spektrum SR300) I guess their are two questions

 

1 can I get this one going somehow or is it dead

2 Assuming dead what other receivers will pair to a Losi one, is it all spektrum ones?

The Losi 2.4ghz dsm transmitter should pair with any spektrum dsm ground (not air) compatible receiver, including the sr210. Not the orangerx one though as that one is dsm2 only.
