Anyone know of a place to bypass icloud activation lock?

about a month and a half ago i brought a iphone 6 on gumtree only to find it had details and there apps and data on it so i thought i would do the right this and wipe it completely only to find that it had now got icloud activation lock on it as i didnt remove there icloud account from it, any way i spoke to apple and they said nope there is nothing we can do without the original proof of purchase which baring in mind it would be almost impossible to get.. any way does any one know of a way to bypass it other than the dns method or at least make it so i can activate it.

that was the first thing i did....

It's THE only way, and it's very easy for the owner to do to unlink it.

its not the only way and i have lost contact with him as i got a new sim card

It's the only legal method...

These things are put in place for stolen/lost devices so I'm sure legitimacy is probably questionable.

It's the best way to bypass activation lock on iDevice, and it's the protect for the iDevice owner...

You are right. His method is based on iCloud unlocking. But the software provider did not mention this issue. The best solution is to contact the original owner.
