Anyone used a shop called Rccarshop.co.uk?

There are many happy shoppers, I only used them for small, in stock items that weren't worth the trek to MS.

I have had experience of their complete failure to calibrate a trophy buggy Flux though.....school boy stuff for an 'experienced' retailer, IMO.

Indeed Noj - but he bought from them more than once and is still defending them too.... Can't all be bad me thinks!

hes a nice bloke and good staff too and yes im happy with my 2 5ives and infact the dbxl but it seemed to be a long drawn out job getting the dbxl batteries sorted almost as if it was my fault he supplied 2 standerd batteries that were faulty if i was a postal costomer how long would it have been to get sorted and why have 2 names for the same shop

MB really mostly specialise in 1/10th stuff, so if they aren't the best for large scales I'd understand that. I use them pretty much exclusively for my 1/10th race cars, but my bashers almost never.

On the flipside I was talking to someone from Rossmods (technically one of the nearest shops to our track) about the fact that none of our racers shop there. The reason of course is that they specialise in larger scales and have limited 1/10th stock.

MB Models leeds, they are decent rc shop with plenty of stock, they have recently moved, thing is they seem to concentrate on high end race kits, and do have good stock of most spares for the kits they sell, they give half decent advice on the stuff they sell, not really the best shop for rtr, for that its got to be modelsport, but ive had my fill of rtr cars now so olny concentrate my funds and time on full blown race kits, once you have built a top  quality race kit its hard to go back to rtr stuff, anyway, I would recommend them, but you have to remember it is a business they are running and sometimes customer focus goes out the window where business and money is concerned, my olny bad experience is with wheelspin models, they are box movers, I think some of the guys at mb race themselves so know about race kits etc.
