Firstly, welcome to the forum.

 

I'll make this as quick as I can without waffling on lol - get yourself a compatible transmitter (controller) and get a SIM on the go.

 

There is a lot of damage you can do with a plane and a quad, to things and people, they can be quite dangerous - if you get yourself into a pickle you need to know how to get out of it.

 

I mean flying away is one thing, coming back is opposite and believe it or not that takes some practice.  For the sake of learning on your PC with a SIM you will become much better and confident, it's how I learnt how to fly.

PS - you may want to go onto designated flying forums to pick up transmitters and SIMS - check out eBay too :)

Yeah I've seen some simulators on eBay. And for some reason I've downloaded some RC plane apps on my ipad too. I don't know if there any good or realistic? But so far manage to crash every time lol.

I'm still looking for a local group I can hook up with. I've sent two invites out local club forums but no one has responded yet.
