Another Jeep Rubicon kit!

Recommended Posts

Hello, just thought I'd share some pics of my build so far!

Gone for a 27T brushed motor, Hobbywing 1060 ESC, Savox servo (still waiting for it  :whistling: ) and a 3racing winch, oh and lights!

Got the Axial 8-hole beadlocks as I don't like gluing tyres!

Anyway, some photos. The chassis is pretty much finished, just waiting for some more red paint for the body to come!

More when I get the body fully painted up

Cheers,

Steven

I will keep looking as I would like to avoid adding another battery tbh. I am over the moon with mine, they are a blast to drive. This is my first one and doubt it will be my last.

It's finished! Just waiting for the new servo to come. I've also since put the wing mirrors on with velcro as a trial, no pics of that though. I've also ordered a pro-line roof rack to mount a light bar I picked up from ebay on!

This one just shows the front lights better, and the indicators!

Can't wait to hit a proper trail with it!

Done quite a bit on this recently. The proline roof racks have been fitted, a light bar mounted to the racks and it's had a good few runs out now. Apart from an ESC giving up on me (which Modelsport happily replaced, thanks guys!!) I'm well pleased with it. Such a pleasure to drive!

A few photos of before and after a a quick video aswell!

The winch seems to be holding out but it doesn't have much grunt to it, apart from that I love it!

Cheers,

Steven
