RC Racing show on Motors TV!

The celebrated Motors TV channel in the UK and Europe will be showing a brand new show all about model RC cars called 'RC Racing'! This all-new show will feature kit reviews, action from top-level races and interviews with the most famous drivers in the world.

Motors TV is avaliable on SKY (channel 413) Telewest and ntl: in the UK and accross Europe on most cable and satelite platforms.

Episode 1:

Exclusive coverage of the 1/10th ISTC world championships from Italy, including full multi-camera race action with commentary by the voice of Le Mans, Motorsport UK and more, John Hindhaugh.

An in depth interview with Andy Moore.

Also Track Tests of the Schumacher Rascal, HPI Baja 5b and HPI Savage 25 RTR.

Track Test - HPI Savage "X"

Feature Interview with RC legend Cecil Schumacher

In the first of a 2 part interview Cecil talks about the early days of RC in the UK, how he came to develop the ball diff (basically because he was spending too much on Tyres for Robin!) that we all now use (but found out he hadn't actually invented it) and lots about the early days of Electric racing as it grew from a cottage industry into big business.

Then it's off to the World Champs to talk to Masami Hirosaka and Craig Drescher (and yes we do mention You bet!), followed by the whole of the very controversial second leg of the "A" main once again with professional commentary by John Hindhaugh and full post race analysis.

Episode 3:

This month the 3rd and decisive leg of the A final from the World Championships in Milan. The 2nd part of our Cecil Schumacher interview where he talks about that iconic vehicle the CAT Interviews with Marc Rheinard, Paul Lemieux and Rick Hohwart and a review of the Savage ATV.

Episode 4:

This month we have a look round the Schumacher factory and test what comes out of it!

We have a comprehensive review of the 1/12th World Championships and an interview with World Champion David Spashett. We look at the HPI Nitro MT2, and preview of our upcoming RX and Truggy coverage from the Neo invitational meeting,

And our first ever competition where you can win a fab Schumacher Havoc Truck!

Episode 5:

"In this months episode of RC Racing, we go nitro crazy as we begin our intensive coverage of the Neo Buggy Invitational event. We have the Truggy “A” final, a review of the HPI Hellfire and we chat with top US star Adam Drake, and I enter my first ever IC off road meeting and find it’s a bit of a steep learning curve!

This is a big week for the show - our revamped website will be launched on Monday and Episode 4 will be available on line at the same time!" - Nick Daman.

Episode 6

Episode 6 sees RC racing return to the Neo Invitational meeting but now we concentrate on the premiere Buggy class, we’ve got race coverage of the first Semi final as well as interviews with 2 world champions (Andy Moore and David Spashett) who were trying something different. We also take an in depth look at the rapidly growing RC Motorbike class, and once again Nick gives it go, with mixed results!

Episode 7

This month we have more exclusive coverage form the Neo Buggy invitational with race coverage of the second Buggy semi final, we also talk to electric off road world champion Neil Cragg, and the odd-couple of Rallycross racing John Hazlewood and Jon Dell. There is also an exclusive "how To" section

that sees team Orions's main man Oscar Jansen take us step by step the process of skimming and rebuilding one of the world champions motors.

Episode 8

RC Racing Episode 8 premieres on Motors TV this Wednesday.

This month is the final episode of series 1 and we go out with a bang, with the dramatic Buggy “A” final from the Neo-Invitational meeting. We also have an up to the minute look at the latest developments in the touring car world, checking out the latest Chassis, Motors and Batteries. We also investigate whether manufacturer claims of their models top speeds are actually true – with surprising results!

As for NTL dont have that channel around here :(

So dont spoil it for me :)

No, that was either 'Model Club' on Motors TV (filmed and produced by the French MotorsTV team), or 'Model Magic' on Discovery.

Both completely unrelated to 'RC Racing'.

ziggy NTL do have motors tv its chanel 545 ;) enjoy!

I have the channel but our area dont have it :)

our NTL is SOOO bad atm tho :(

The whole street has a damaged line and we loose the TV and internet for short to long period of time :(

pretty close race, good tactics from andy although it would be better to finish the race 1st and win rather than come 2nd and win :good:

That japese driver must be a fantastic racer, if he managed to catch andy up from a distance..

I say he cheats :D

But Andy was right, 1 point difference when he was already deamed to win the world championship title

He did the right thing tho

Close race, but not as good.... They need to review the new HPI Firestorm 10t :)
