b19jas Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 I had an altrun in a maxx, lasted 5 mins. Had a power had there for well over a year now. No issues. I will.say though that speeds and torque are over rated a bit IMO so would buy more than you need. Both alturn servos I uave owned.. 1 in maxx, 1 in merv, both failed quickly. Noj Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 I suggested them to Chewie as a possible alternative. Buggy not finished yet, however, have tried one fitted to a tt02 and it was responsive. chewbacca Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share Posted March 8, 2015 Soooooooooooooo. A mixed bag. Boudicca came with an Alturn MG780 which is now sporting a stripped gear. Before I started looking into the PHD units I popped a replacement gear set into my basket but my card was refused for some reason. Tempted to get the gears and the servo and cover both bases.
